In the past few years my life has taken on an entirely new meaning. I’ve left behind everyone and everything I know back in my small hometown in Alabama to follow the love of my life around the country. We’ve lived in Florida and are now living in America’s last frontier: Alaska. I’ve given birth to a handsome little boy named, Noah and understand fully what it means to have your heart walking around outside of your body. motherhood and marriage have molded me and made me into a person I never dreamed I could become; a woman who knows about the purest kind of love and the deepest kind of commitment there is.

I own a small, but growing Graphic design Business and I dabble in photography in my spare time. I love that I am able to spend my days watching our son grow up and work from home doing something I enjoy. My creative energy overwhelms me at times, and I love that I have several outlets to push it through.

Writing has always been a passion, but I rediscovered my love for words in 2008 after our son was born. I use this blog as a creative outlet, a baby book, a journal, a scrapbook, a business place, a work space…and pretty much everything in between.

I’ve been through hell and back in my life, and I’ve managed to maintain my faith, grow stronger in my belief and support in Christ, and come out on top of adversity. I fail often, but I refuse to be beaten down by life, by fear, or by hardship.

This blog is truth, it’s raw, and it’s real. Things aren’t always pretty; I’m not perfect, and I don’t pretend to be.
