I did a post similar to this the other day about why I love being a mommy. I thought that tonight
for lack of anything else to write and a desire to simply put words out theresince I love my husband, that I would post one about him. 🙂 I know, I’m a smitten girl…
I love being a wife. I love that I am Josh’s wife. I love the way he lets me cry on his shoulder when I am upset. I love the way he kisses me. I love the way we can finish each others sentences. I love when he dances with me in the kitchen. I love the way we know what each other is thinking about before we even say it. I love that he loves scary movies. I love that he will take me to see chick flicks if I want to. I love that he buys me Starbucks when I’m having a bad day. I love that he buys me Starbucks just because. I love that we can pick on one another and laugh about it. I love our nicknames for each other. I love the way he lets me snuggle up against him back at night time. I love when he does little things to surprise me for no reason. I love the way he supports me in everything I want to do. I love the way he wants me to succeed at things and follow me own dreams. I love how smart he. I love how determined and
stubborn headstrong he is. I love how persistent he is. I love how much he cares for people and how much he longs to help others. I love that he is a good man. I love the way he loves our son. I love the way he loves me. I love the way he drops everything and plays with Noah when he gets off of work. I love that he works hard. I love that he lets me be a mommy and doesn’t force me to get a job [even though money is tight and the extra income would be useful]. I love the way he smiles. I love that I get lost in his eyes. I love the way he protects me. I love that he is strong in his beliefs and morals. I love that he is a “little bit country and a little bit rock and roll.” I love how he looks in just a pair of cut up jeans [::blushing::] I love that I fall more and more in love with him each and every day. I love that I know that we will be together forever. I love that we share the desire to adopt a child someday. I love that we have a life in eternity together. I love that he is a man of God. I love that he admits when he is wrong. I love that he apologizes. I love him and everything that goes with him.
Yeah. I’m like a teenage girl with a head-over-heels celebrity crush. I’m so glad that God has given me such a strong and pure love for my husband. I truly believe that we never really love someone until we meet our soulmate. I thought I loved someone before Josh, but now that I KNOW what God-given, God-centered, meaningful love is, I know that Josh is the only person I have ever felt that way with.
