I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday! I know we did! We spent lunch with my husbands family and supper with mine. We had more turkey, ham, dressing, butterbeans and Pecan Pie than we knew what to do with. And it was fabulous! I am not doing the Black Friday shopping today…as much as I really wanted to. Instead, I’m going to go pick this up from the car dealership:
And then heading over to my parents house to watch the biggest football rivalry of the year…
For those of you who weren’t born and bread in the great state of Alabama, this game probably doesn’t mean anything to you…but for us Southerners, this game is a big deal. It’s bragging rights for an entire year. Families feud over this game. Homes are divided. Friendships end. It’s really that serious. Me? I’ll be pulling for the reigning National Champions, The Alabama Crimson Tide. I’m guessing a 24-20 defeat over Auburn. Though I wouldn’t mind seeing them win by more than that.
I tell you this so that you will know why I am not around…why my Facebook will be full of Football Status updates and why my Twitter may remain untouched. I’ll be watching the Game. Hope you guys enjoy Black Friday! Maybe you’ll run up on a few great deals!
